Nighthawks Announce Elite Team Coach

The Connecticut Nighthawks are proud to announce Jason Olson as the Head Coach of the USPHL Elite team for the 2017-2018 season. Jason will also serve as the assistant on the Premier team. He is also responsible for the design and implementation of the in season strength & conditioning program. Last season Jason assisted Head Coach, Jeff Tory with the Nighthawks EHL Premier team which successfully committed 13 players to college programs.

Jason played college hockey for the University of Southern Maine while receiving his degree in Exercise Science. He adds, “I am extremely excited for the upcoming season. I take a lot of pride in helping players develop their skill sets so that they can reach their goal of playing collegiate hockey. Jeff (Tory) and I have similar coaching philosophies which allows us to work seamlessly together. We have been hitting the recruiting trail hard and are very optimistic about the upcoming season”.  

The Nighthawks are having open tryouts for both the USPHL Premier & Elite teams April 28th-30th at the International Skating Center of Connecticut in Simsbury, CT.
